Meet some of your guides:

Ranger Kent Taylor

Kent Taylor is the founder and director of the National Park Society.

Kent has worked with the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Colorado Division of Wildlife, and serves as a park ranger at the world famous Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He has been guiding national park tours since 1984 and is a member of the Association of National Park Rangers.

Kent's world travels include a 500 mile walk across Ireland, a 1,000 mile bicycle ride through New Zealand, and a 1,500 mile journey up the holy Ganges River of India to its source in the Himalaya Mountains.

Not only will Kent help you learn about the parks you are visiting, he will also keep you on the edge of your seat with stories from his many adventures.



Ranger Michael Punches

Michael Punches will lead a trip to Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains and Big Bend National Parks in late-March of 2008 for the cactus bloom. Contact us for trip details.

Michael has served as a national park ranger in many of America's most famous parks including Yosemite, Yellowstone, Mount Rainier, Mesa Verde, Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument and more.

He is a member of the National Association for Interpretation. The NAI is a leading professional organization dedicated to advancing the profession of heritage interpretation.
